Damian Follett is the uncle of a Grade 5 student in our school and he has entered a national song writing contest.  His song sends a great message about inclusion, diversity and kindness which is so important to Paradise Elementary in helping to create such a positive learning environment in our school. I encourage all to listen to his song and vote as it has a very fitting message for our world today.  Take a listen:  Please share this link: Damian's amazing song "One Human Race". http://www.cbcmusic.ca/searchlight/entries/1/0/0/24/damian

Paradise Elementary Volunteers;

Volunteers are a vital part of every community and organization.  Your services are central to our success and Volunteer Week acknowledges your enormous contribution. We have volunteers involved in our school each and every day from our breakfast club, school field trips, Kiss and Ride lanes and by just lending a helpful hand. During Volunteer Week 2017, Paradise Elementary would like to thank all our volunteers including our School Council, parents/guardians and community groups for their support and involvement. It is your ongoing efforts that help improve our school community.  Together, we are helping each student achieve.

On May 25th, our school will be hosting a Volunteer breakfast to celebrate your helpful contributions to our wonderful school. We will be sending out a formal invitation to all our volunteers in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you for all of your support this year,

Paradise Elementary Staff

Right now, they have front and back legs along with a tail.  The kids are observing these tiny creatures as they develop into frogs!  What a wonderful Science project!  Thank you to everyone who helped set up this LIVE Science exhibit for the Grade Two students.
